About our Church

Three Legged Cross United Reformed Church is a small church on the main road from the village of Three Legged Cross towards Ringwood opposite John Brown’s Garden Centre.

The church was founded as an Independent Congregational Church in August 1890 and became part of the United Reformed Church over 40 years ago.  Apart from essential maintenance and modernisation, the structure of the Church building remains unchanged. We now have a small annex which is available for hire (currently used for music rehearsals).

The church organises several regular events in the Christian calendar including a Christmas Concert. We are also well known for our cream teas served every Saturday in August which is open to all including stalls to raise funds. Our Harvest Festival service includes collecting food for those in need which we pass on to the Salvation Army for distribution. We also have a 75 year tradition of a shared Good Friday service with a Bournemouth Church which we host.

Our ministry extends into the community where we offer company and fellowship to the residents of the two nursing homes in the local area and have a monthly service at both.

We are a traditional Church with a welcome for everyone.

You will always find a warm welcome at Three Legged Cross URC
